New employee at National Paying Agency – robot!

New employee at National Paying Agency – robot!
The National Paying Agency (NPA) is one of the first government institutions to develop robotization of processes in their practice. A new employee starts working at the NPA – Robis NeMigA.

The NPA employees are very happy with their new colleague, because Robis has tireless work pace – he is able to work 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This employee has one more unique attribute – he is a software that can work among other softwares and applications.

„This worker will definitely create added value both for the institution and farmers of our country“, - says Erikas Bėrontas, Director of the NPA. According to him, advanced technologies will significantly accelerate evaluation of applications, so support will reach farmers faster too. Benefits of processes‘ robotization are obvious – costs (both workforce and financial) of processes‘ implementation are reduced, error probability is diminished, proccesses are less dependent on actions of employees, and efficiency of operations is increased. Considering the fact that this colleague needs no sleep until all applications of NPA clients are evaluated, employees came up with the name Robis NeMigA (Robby Insomnia).

Now function of Robis NeMigA is to administer annual applications for Rural Development Programme measure „Early retirement of farmers from agricultural commodities production“ for  2004-2006, and there are 12 000 of these. Robis  NeMiga can evaluate 400 of such applications per day – as much as 6 employees would do.

In the future it is planned not only to increase the number of tasks for Robis, but also to employ colleagues of Robis, who would quicken evaluation of documents even more. Revolution of robotization is happening and the NPA is the part of it.
