National Paying Agency (NPA) manages information in accordance with the best practices of information security. This has just been confirmed by independent auditors who completed the process of re-certification.

 

The EO4AGRI consortium announces the finalisation of the EO4AGRI project after two years of work with the objective of boosting the digitalization of the agricultural sector through the use of Earth Observation information on the monitoring processes. Coordinated by Atos Spain and comprising 11 partners from across Europe, the project covers a diverse range of organisations (large companies, SMEs, research centres and paying agencies). Among the partners of the international consortium – the National Paying Agency (NPA) in Lithuania. EO4AGRI is implemented in accordance with the European Union Horizon 2020 Research and Innovation programme.

After an unprecedented crisis that Europe incurred due to coronavirus outbreak, the European Commission (EC) announced about a package of nęw measures to help agri-food sector. The Coronavirus Investment Initiative Plus (CRII +) proposed by the EC will facilitate the use of European Structural Investment Funds, including the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD). The initiative, which increases the flexibility of using EAFRD funds, will support farmers, rural areas and the European Union member states.
