As of 1 October 2018 the Rural Business and Market Development Agency will be performing the functions of foreign trade mechanisms’ administration
As of 1 October 2018, the Rural Business and Market Development Agency (RBMDA) will take over from the National Paying Agency (NPA) the functions of foreign trade mechanisms’ administration, including the administration of applications for receiving licences on importing/exporting agricultural products, the administration of guarantees. The NPA will be performing the above functions until 28 September 2018.

Respective preparations to transfer the functions are already ongoing – the applicants who have signed electronic contracts with the NPA for import/export licences, have been already informed about the unilateral cancellation of the contracts as of 1 October (non-inclusive).

If applicants wish to apply for import/export licences, they should have contracts concluded with the RBMDA as of 1 October. After having concluded contracts with the RBMDA, applicants will be submitting applications for licences, using the NPA Information Portal – the submission of electronic applications will be operating without hindrance.
